Theme Parks
The theme parks all have amazing attention to detail in their set-up, great service and queue-jumping passes. For major rides, you can obtain a pass to return at a specified time and head straight for the front, but only one pass at a time per person!
Disney
Disney now also has Epcot, MGM and Animal Kingdom theme parks as well as numerous water parks, Disney's Boardwalk and Downtown Disney, all of which are worth a visit. ![]() Universal StudiosMuch more recent than Disney and Sea World, Universal Studios opened in 1990. Combining thrilling rides with film industry entertainment, Universal appeals more to adults and teenagers than younger children. At Universal Studios, you can learn the art of making movies with Hitchcock; marvel at street sets of New York and Hollywood; have a brush with Jaws; brave an Earthquake or Twister. See the Blues Brothers, Beetlejuice's rock'n'roll graveyard revue and the Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show; shoot aliens in Men In Black Alien Attack; travel through time in Back to the Future simulator ride or have the future come to you in Terminator 2:3D. For the kids: Woody's Nuthouse Coaster, E.T. Adventure, Fievel's playland, Animal Planet Live.

Islands of AdventureThe state of the art Islands of Adventure is the newest park, opening in 1999 to rave reviews. From the exotic bazaar Port of Entry with its landmark lighthouse, you are immediately immersed in the park's fantastical atmosphere. In Marvel Super Hero Island, see comic book characters brought to life in this sleek city. See, hear and feel the 3D action with Spiderman; get catapulted from 0 to 40mph in 2 seconds flat on the high-speed Hulk roller-coaster (below); drop 200ft with Dr Doom's Fearfall and spin wildly in Storm Force Accelatron. ![]() Toon Lagoon caters for crazy adventures like Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls (prepare to get VERY WET if you sit at the front!), and Seuss Landing has whimsical rides based on Dr Seuss stories.
